Robbie Faulkner is the Executive Director of The Arc Tennessee, a nonprofit that protects and advocates for the rights of individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. Since her older son’s diagnosis of autism 27 years ago, Robbie has looked to serve individuals with disabilities and for many years did so in the public education arena. She spent 31 years in a variety of roles: classroom teacher, literacy coordinator, middle school principal, and finally the Director of Secondary Education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in English from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, a master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University, and a doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Robbie is the proud parent of two sons, Ian and Collin. She loves traveling, reading, and watching college sports.
